The Secretariat

Meet the Executive

The Executive consists of from eight to fifteen volunteers who meet between four and six times a year to organise events and plan the future of the Association. They also appoint representatives when discussions with the HSE are required, and take responsibility for certain aspects of the Association

It is a non paid situation and for the first five years and the last two members have had to pay their own travel costs to meetings as well as their subsistence. When books were selling well the Association paid travel at 25p per mile, but with the down turn we reverted to members paying their own way.

It means a commitment of time and money but provides good networking and a chance to put forward your ideas for what the Association ought to be doing.
There are currently vacancies so if you wish to become a member of the controlling body email us at chair@firstaidcouncilfortraining.org.uk
